1.  How did the Koch brothers describe their political goals and how did they participate politically?
The Koch brothers, aside from David Koch's participation as the Vice Presidential Candidate on the Libertarian Ballot of 1980, mainly participated in politics through lobbying and campaign funding. This the claim is in support of liberty and economic freedom, but in reality is usually for their own economic prosperity.
2. How did the Koch family become wealthy?
The Koch brother's fathers had founded an oil company in the 50's and Charles grew it to become one of the largest in the world.
3. How did David Koch first become involved in politics?
Dating back to the 1970s the Koch Brother's helped found and fund libertarian organizations and David Koch was even the Vice Presidential candidate in the 1980 election. However, they quickly realized third party politics did not help their company, so they began to support republican candidates.
4. Why did the Koch's escalate their political efforts when Obama became president?
Obama planned on passing environmental and healthcare reforms as well as increasing taxation on the rich. All of these would harm the business, so in self-interests the funded candidates that would prevent these reforms from being passed.
5. What did the Koch's spend their money on in order to help Republican candidates in elections?
The Koch'sspent their money on organizing and ads in a broad propoganda campaign to elect and keep in power repupbican candidates.
